About Me
Journalist with experience in crisis and emergency communication, committed to human rights and focused on telling stories that put people at the center.
Over the past years, I’ve worked with international organizations and NGOs, bringing together my research skills and journalistic experience. I focus on transforming complex data into stories that give voice to vulnerable people and reveal what's behind the statistics.
I have extensive experience as a Communications Specialist, covering strategic planning, human and financial resource management, and media engagement. My professional journey has been shaped by leading communication initiatives, building networks and fostering media relations.
Throughout my career, I have maintained a strong focus on ethical principles: all content and communication are developed in line with humanitarian standards, protecting the dignity, rights, and safety of the people involved. This applies also when I am required to support field missions, where solid preparation on these principles is essential. Working in the field has reinforced my commitment to remain a “field-person,” staying close to people to understand realities firsthand and communicate them responsibly.
Curiosity, continuous learning, and a drive to explore new ways of communicating and advocating guide my work. I believe that communication in humanitarian settings is not just about facts and figures, but, above all, about people.
"Stories make us more alive, more human, more courageous, more loving"
